Are you a qualified gas engineer with a sense of humour?
Due to our continued growth in 2022, we now need a qualified gas breakdown and service engineer to join our family run business.
The primary responsibilities of being a Gas Engineer at Gas-Tech are:
- Install and maintain gas appliances: You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of gas appliances in residential properties. This includes boilers, water heaters, fires, cookers, and other appliances that use gas.
- Inspect gas systems: You will be required to carry out regular inspections of gas systems to ensure that they are safe and functioning correctly. This involves checking the gas supply, pipework, and appliances for leaks, damage, or wear and tear.
- Repair gas appliances: When gas appliances break down or malfunction, you'll be responsible for identifying and fixing the problem. This may involve replacing parts, cleaning components, or carrying out more extensive repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations: Gas Engineers must comply with strict safety regulations and codes of practice to ensure that gas appliances are installed and maintained safely. This involves following specific guidelines and carrying out regular safety checks.
- Keep records: You are required to keep accurate records of all work carried out on gas appliances, including installation, maintenance, and repairs. This helps to ensure that appliances are properly maintained and serviced over time.
