An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Change Manager (part-time) to be part of a team supporting the first major merger within the Higher Education sector in a number of years. The post holder will focus on stakeholder engagement and ideally have a background in organisational design.
Job responsibilities include:
- Drive the delivery of change initiatives across a strategic portfolio, ensuring robust planning and successful execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Professional Service Directors and Workstream Leads
- Lead a range of change activities relating to the organisation design of the combined institution through all elements of review including the operating framework
- Champion cultural change initiatives, fostering behaviours and mindsets aligned with the future vision
- Proactively identify and manage risks and resistance to change through targeted action plans
Candidate profile:
- Relevant professional qualification in Change Management
- Proven experience leading change and business improvements within Higher Education, the NHS, or wider public sector
- Motivated by the people perspective of change
- Ability to establish credibility with senior colleagues
Annual salary:
£51,000 - £61,000 (pro rata to £30,600 - £36,600)
Contract type:
Fixed Term for 12 months
Working hours:
Part-time – 60% FTE
Location:
Central London (hybrid working)
Additional benefits:
- Up to 41 days per annum (pro rata'd to 60%)
- Generous pension contributions
