As a Chef de Partie at Sodexo in Nuffield Hospital Woking, you'll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience. You'll be responsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards. What You'll Do

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals for patients and staff in line with Sodexo and client recipes, ensuring timely service and meeting dietary requirements.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and efficient, including dishwashing and taking charge on alternate weekends.
  • Provide a friendly, welcoming service in the staff restaurant and accurately record food waste, cleaning logs, and temperature checks.
  • Monitor food stock by checking expiry dates, disposing of out-of-date items, and completing ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What You Bring

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and experience as a chef
  • Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen
  • Clear, respectful communication and a strong team spirit
  • Ability to work as part of a Team and also individually (lone working on weekends)
