Runway Training is looking for a motivated Employer Engagement Officer to support our GLA and employability programmes. This role is ideal for someone with experience in recruitment, employer engagement, or business development who wants to make a real impact.

About the Role

You will build strong relationships with employers to create job opportunities, arrange guaranteed interviews, and coordinate Sector-Based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs). You'll work closely with our internal team to ensure candidates are matched to suitable roles and that our Good Work Outcome KPIs are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and maintain relationships with employers across priority sectors
  • Secure vacancies, work trials, and interview opportunities
  • Coordinate SWAPs and employer-led activities
  • Match candidates to roles based on skills and aspirations
  • Arrange interviews and support participants with preparation
  • Monitor and record employment outcomes in line with GLA requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or business development
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach
  • Understanding of employability programmes or SWAPs (desirable)
