About Us

Newcastle Home Renovations is a Ponteland-based building company specialising in new builds, extensions (including dormers), full property refurbishments, commercial renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, and a wide range of renovation works.

Overview

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our growing team. You'll work across a variety of residential renovation projects, carrying out both first and second fix joinery to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have solid experience, strong attention to detail, and take real pride in their craftsmanship.

Experience fitting kitchens is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of joinery, including first and second fix work.
  • Install doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, flooring, and other joinery elements.
  • Work from drawings and specifications to ensure precision and quality.
  • Assist with general construction tasks where required.
  • Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Keep a tidy, safe, and well-organised working environment at all times.
  • Follow site health & safety procedures and company standards.

Requirements / Person Specification

  • Proven experience as a joiner in residential or renovation projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work.
  • Full UK driving licence, own transport, and own tools essential.

Hours & Pay

  • Full-time position.
  • Hours and pay in line with experience and company standards (DOE).
