Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its client's MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) / Front Door Team based in South Tyneside. This is a non-case holding role, offering flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.

MASH experience is preferred, and you will be part of a dynamic team that plays a critical role in safeguarding children and families by managing referrals and ensuring timely, effective decision-making.

What will your responsibilities be?
  • Screen and assess incoming referrals to identify risks and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to share information and ensure coordinated safeguarding responses.
  • Apply professional judgment to make threshold decisions in line with statutory guidance and local procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to high-quality reporting for safeguarding purposes.
  • Participate in team discussions and reflective practice sessions to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
  • Post-qualified experience (MASH experience desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.
