Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor green spaces, ensuring they are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. Duties

  • Planting, pruning, and cultivating a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees
  • Maintaining lawns through mowing, edging, and fertilising
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to support landscape upkeep
  • Assisting with the installation of new garden features and landscape elements
  • Monitoring plant health and applying appropriate treatments or remedies
  • Cleaning and maintaining gardening equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Assisting with seasonal planting and garden redesigns as required
  • Ensuring all outdoor areas are safe, tidy, and visually appealing

Skills

  • Experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as secateurs, spades, and rakes
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
  • Growing experience including planting schedules and plant care techniques
  • Strong understanding of horticultural principles and landscape aesthetics
  • Organised with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina
