Software Sales Director

We are currently working on behalf of a leading global software firm who are looking to recruit a Software Sales Director to drive growth across the business, responsible for building a world-class Sales organisation centred around the development of people and processes

Responsibilities

As a key part of the leadership team and a key change-agent for our sales organisation, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating, articulating and leading our growth agenda across the sales function
  • Leading the governance of our sales process, evangelising the process and systems, and supporting the right behaviours through appropriate reward and recognition strategies
  • With a focus on net new customer acquisition, setting the strategy for the New Business teams
  • The delivery of challenging revenue and sales bookings numbers across sectors

Experience

  • A strong, clear and engaging vision for world-class sales coupled with a relentless approach to sales execution
  • Deep experience of leading sales teams in software environments
  • Proven expertise in developing a people-centric sales organisation that delivers to revenue targets through proactive, market-driven strategies
  • A clear vision of sales best practice across process, people development and systems
