H & J Speake is a family owned manufacturer of Zinc & Aluminium Die Castings. Operating from a single site in Willenhall we service a number of the UK's market leaders across various industries.

We are looking for somebody to join our team as a Factory Operative.

PLEASE NOTE: We are only taking applications via indeed. We are not able to process your application over the phone.

The position involves:

  • Mind and manage a range of Zinc high pressure die casting machines to produce products. Full training will be provided, no previous experience necessary.

  • Pouring of molten Zinc into die casting machines. PPE and full training provided.

  • Cleaning machines after each production shift ready for next shift.

  • Inspecting parts which are produced to ensure they are to the specification required.

  • Secondary operation work (drilling, tapping, presswork, linishing) when required.

  • Packing of parts once produced.

  • Shrink wrapping of pallets to be sent to customers/suppliers.

  • Other adhoc factory duties

Requirements:

  • Previous foundry experience preferred but not essential.

  • Previous experience working in a factory/warehouse essential.

  • Ability to work on own initiative.

  • Punctuality and reliability a must.

  • Physically fit with the ability to

Hours are 6.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am - 3.00pm Friday. No Shift work. No Weekend work.
