Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen & service staff by assisting with meal preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to menu standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all food hygiene, allergen and safety regulations
  • Support front of house staff during busy periods
  • Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and order placing.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to families and children.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome applicants eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred.
  • A passion for cooking and willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
