About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Senior Mortgage and Protection Paraplanner
to join a highly regarded mortgage team in Essex.

This is a key support role, assisting Mortgage and Protection Advisers with the efficient processing of client applications — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service at every stage. If you're detail-driven, organised, and passionate about helping clients secure the best financial outcomes, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide expert administrative and paraplanning support to Mortgage and Protection Advisers.
  • Liaise professionally with advisers, clients, product providers, and internal teams.
  • Accurately submit mortgage applications and ensure all initial lender requirements are met.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with client information, documentation, and product details.
  • Review customer files to ensure all documentation meets internal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct detailed
    file reviews
    and support compliance monitoring processes.
  • Track product submissions, maintain progress notes, and manage worklists efficiently.
  • Uphold professional standards in communication, appearance, and compliance at all times.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance product and compliance knowledge.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in
    mortgage administration or paraplanning
    .
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational ability.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work under pressure.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactive, dependable, and solutions-focused mindset.

CeMAP (full qualification)
