A leading global trading firm is seeking a talented and commercially minded Prime Brokerage & Derivatives Lawyer to join its high-performing London legal team.

This is a rare front-office opportunity to work at the sharp end of global markets, advising on complex prime brokerage and trading arrangements across asset classes. Ideal for a derivatives lawyer looking to diversify their market experience and play a strategic role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What you'll do:

  • Lead negotiations on prime brokerage, ISDA, clearing, repo, and electronic trading documentation
  • Advise on margining, collateral, and client relationships across global markets
  • Partner with front-office and risk teams to deliver practical, commercial legal advice
  • Navigate EMIR, MiFID II, and international trading regulations

What we're looking for:

  • UK/Common Law/European qualified lawyer, ideally 5+ PQE (flexible)
  • Strong background in derivatives and/or prime brokerage
  • Commercial, solutions-driven mindset and confidence working with trading desks
