Senior Conflicts Analyst

A leading international law firm is looking for a skilled Senior Conflicts Analyst / Lawyer to join its London office.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Conflicts Analyst / Lawyer role will have extensive experience gained within a law firm working in a conflicts of interest management role, with a strong understanding of applicable conflict of interest rules.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Conflicts Analyst / Lawyer role:
- Provide expert, timely advice to partners, fee-earners, and business services teams on applicable conflict of interest rules and firm policies.
- Review and interpret conflict reports, identifying potential legal, commercial, regulatory, and ethical risks.
- Analyse, assess, and resolve complex conflict of interest issues arising from new matters, new clients, and ongoing mandates.
- Assist with the management of ethical walls, information barriers, and other risk mitigation measures.
- Draft clear, concise summaries of conflict issues and recommended resolutions.
- Work closely with global Risk, Compliance, and Business Intake teams to ensure consistency in approach and adherence to best practice.
- Support training, guidance, and knowledge-sharing initiatives relating to conflicts management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of conflicts processes, systems, and policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience working in a law firm conflicts of interest management role is essential.
- Deep working knowledge of conflict of interest rules, including SRA standards and regulations, and relevant international rules.
- Qualified lawyer, or a senior conflicts professional with extensive analytical and advisory experience.
- Experience working in an international or large law firm environment is highly advantageous.
