Do you want an opportunity to 'give back' to the local community using your excellent face to face customer service and Healthcare Assistant skills?

We're recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join our Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in the heart of Oxfordshire. This is a 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

About you

As a member of the Healthcare team in this role you will support and work closely with registered practitioners and other members of the multi-disciplinary team in order:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a safe, supportive environment independently;
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient, confidential, and patient-centered care at Oxford CDC;
  • Maintain and update clinical competencies and/or Care Certificate as required;

To be successful in this role you will be empathetic and take pride in your work. You will be an excellent team player as well as effectively work autonomously. You will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally, and have patience when dealing with members of the public. You will be IT literate, have excellent attention to detail and demonstrate understanding of confidentiality. Above all you will be reliable, professional and a real asset to the team through continuous drive and improvement.

Hours

This is a full-time position based at the Oxford Business Park in Cowley, with free on-site parking. Shifts will be up to 12 hours in length and may be scheduled across seven days a week (between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm).
