Role Summary
The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is accountable for managing Sophos' high-growth, high-potential Partners. They are responsible for developing joint business plans with partners to hit revenue and profitability target by growing MDR, services, MSP and next-gen portfolio opportunities, as well as new logo, up-sell, cross-sell and renewal conversations with existing customers.
This role will be responsible for working with Sophos largest partner in EMEA 'Softcat'.
What Will You Do
- Develop relationships at all levels across the partner to drive revenue growth and profitability; across all customer sizes, and across all our platforms
- Build and execute business plans that identify, develop and close incremental opportunities to deliver outstanding growth for the partner and Sophos.
- Enable partners to take full advantage of Sophos' comprehensive solution and services portfolio to improve their customer's security protection and response. Directly support partners to qualify and close complex customer deals, engaging wider sales and sales engineer teams where required to gather insights to ensure accurate business forecasting.
- Drive high renewal rates by ensuring partners focus on their renewals and build an engagement plan to align Sophos and Partner teams and identify new business and cross sell opportunities.
- Motivate, educate, and ensure Partner sales and technical staff are go-to-market ready, provide access to certification and training materials and develop an enablement plan.
- Act as part of a team into Sophos for all strategic sales, marketing, and enablement engagements
What You Will Bring
- Channel Sales experience, ideally from both a partner and vendor perspective
- Comfortable engaging end customers
- Cyber Security Sales experience
- Business acumen: Ability to identify opportunities with the highest and most competitive pay back for Sophos.
- Collaboration: Facilitates strong business partnerships to secure buy-in to plans to move Sophos and Partners towards desired goals.
- Interpersonal skills: Engages easily and uses effective questioning and active listening to gather relevant information.
- Outcome-based thinking: Focuses on understanding desired outcomes and showing value for Sophos, partners, and customers
This role is Hybrid based out of the Sophos Manchester office (3 days a week).
