We are currently seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Receptionist and Qualified Dental Nurse.

Job Description:

As a Full-Time Receptionist and Qualified Dental Nurse at Confident Smile, you will play a dual role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, providing excellent customer service, excellent communication with the team, and assisting with dental procedures as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, personable, and passionate about dental care as you will be positioned as a senior part of the team- the 'go-to' person for the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Managing patient appointments, both in person and over the phone.
  • Handling patient inquiries and providing information about services.
  • Processing patient payments and handling billing enquiries.
  • Maintaining an organised and tidy reception area.
  • Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.

Dental Nurse Duties:

  • Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment.
  • Taking and processing dental X-rays.
  • Providing patients with pre- and post-operative instructions.
  • Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their visit.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • National Diploma in Dental Nursing (NEBDN) or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing.
  • Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • At least 2 years previous experience in a dental practice.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in dental software and office applications.
  • A friendly and professional approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday, 8.30am-6pm.
