Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
Cleaning Deputy Manager – Transport Division
We are looking for a Cleaning Deputy Manager to Support the Account Lead in managing a large transport contract based at St Pancras with travel to Stratford, Ebbsfleet, and Singlewell. You will manage a team of 5 Duty Managers to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to the highest level. No two days will be the same. When you're dealing with people there's never a dull moment, and you'll use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team.
Key Responsibilities
As Cleaning Deputy Manager, you'll be:
Directly managing Duty Managers within the account to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to the highest level.
Ensuring development, support, mentoring and effective performance is proactively and efficiently managed for the direct reports, in line with company standards.
Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activity such as projects, reports, audits as required and to support the Account Lead.
Managing key (high profile/value) accounts within the operating region to including, managing staffing level, subcontracts, training staff in Health & Safety and update records.
Ensuring that all contractual KPI's are achieved.
Recruiting, developing, training cleaning operatives in site contracts promptly.
About You
As Cleaning Deputy Manager, you'll have:
Previous client management and people management skills.
Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry with the ability to train staff.
Computer literate with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office package and databases.
Able to drive / travel to different sites where required.
Able and willing to work unsocial hours as necessary.
NEBOSH qualification.
A satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure
Full, clean driving license – Desirable
