Carpet Roles UK are delighted to offer an opportunity to join our clients, a leading Commercial Flooring Contractor in their hunt for a Key Person to run Projects on their behalf in the London / Home Counties Region.

The Company:
Our Clients are an Independent Flooring Specialist Retailer and Commercial Flooring Specialists based in Hertfordshire with a wide portfolio of Bespoke flooring projects throughout London and the Home Counties (as well as further afield). They are seeking additional Contract flooring Project Managers to help with their growth plans. They are a well established operation in excellent combined Retail Showroom and Commercial / Contract / New Build offering from their location and offer a rewarding and friendly environment to work.

Duties:
The Duties will be to deal with a variety of Projects at one time of varying value from the sign off of the estimate through the complete process of the Flooring works. This will involve procurement, Client Liaison, Management of contractors on site work, once work is complete assessing the Quality of the role and arranging for remedial work to be carried out if required and all preparation and signing off on the final account of the project.

Requirements:
The role would suit an experienced, hungry, commercial flooring Professional looking to utilise their all round experience and to build a key role for themselves within our clients ongoing success. Requirements for Successful Candidate:
  • Our clients are seeking an experienced Senior Contract flooring Project Manager and / or more junior Contract Managers looking to advance.
  • You will be immediately capable of taking on workload up to and including the duties above with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Industry specific Quantification Software is desirable.
  • A Solid and accomplished track record in Contract Flooring is required.
The location of the majority of the role is in and around the Home Counties (you will be based in Hertfordshire or nearby ideally) area though at times working further afield and at times in London area will be required, our clients would ideally like the candidate to come from within their local Hertfordshire area.
  • A Valid Current CSCS (Supervisory or Management ideally) Card is Required.
