About the Role
Reporting to the Programme Administration Lead, the Programme Administrator will work closely with colleagues in the Student Support Centres, the Directorate, wider University services, academics, and students to ensure the delivery of a consistent and high-quality administrative service.
This varied role involves supporting course, module, and student record maintenance and review, while also helping to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students. Working collaboratively with other team members, , triaging student and staff queries to deliver a professional, "right first time" service.
You will provide efficient and effective administrative support across a wide range of course administration activities, ensuring the seamless delivery of student services across the school. This includes managing a portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and modules, maintaining accurate student records, and supporting students and colleagues throughout the full student lifecycle, from enrolment to graduation.
About You
You will be an organised and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative experience and a passion for providing excellent service. You will have:
- A high level of literacy and numeracy.
- Excellent IT skills, including advanced use of web-based systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience delivering high-quality customer service in a complex or fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records and handle complex information.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain policies and procedures to students and staff.
- The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines effectively.
