Events and Visitor Experience Manager

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the University of St Andrews as our Events and Visitor Experience Manager, a pivotal role at the heart of external engagement, student recruitment and the creation of unforgettable visitor experiences.

You will join a high-energy, results-driven team of motivated specialists dedicated to building meaningful, long-term relationships that support student recruitment and admissions. Working collaboratively across the University, you will play a key role in delivering our strategic priorities and contributing directly to achieving admissions targets.

As Events and Visitor Experience Manager, you will help design and lead on delivering an exceptional visitor experience across various recruitment touchpoints. You will shape and coordinate flagship events such as our popular Talk and Tours and annual Visiting Days, support the development of engaging communications for in-country recruitment events, monitor, analyse and report on the impact of all in-person and online admissions events, using established performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

This challenging and rewarding post will attract applicants who are educated to degree level (or with equivalent professional experience), experienced in event management, ideally within a customer-focused environment, experience of marketing communications and related systems, outstanding communicators who can engage effectively with diverse audiences, strong team players with excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure, confident relationship-builders, capable of influencing, collaborating, and representing the University with professionalism, willing to undertake overseas travel and read applications as required.

You will work across multiple business areas, collaborate with expert colleagues, and contribute to innovative, high-impact initiatives.
