We are looking for Support Workers preferably with experience working in mental health for our Trauma Healing Clinic near Wantage. To provide high quality, person centred support, in a compassionate and respectful manner, always preserving dignity and respect.

At Khiron Clinics Residential, we support adults aged 18+, living with trauma related mental health conditions. The staff at Khiron Clinics work cohesively with clients to build therapeutic treatment plans and support/care plans. Khiron Clinics offers a unique, intensive, and holistic psychotherapy programme, in a residential setting.

Our Support Workers play a crucial role in supporting our clients'. Based in our higher needs clinic, providing high quality care to assist in identifying health and care needs, whilst promoting independence.

We have full time and part time opportunities available, to join our team. Both day shifts and waking night shifts are available. All shifts are 12 hours

Main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Medication administration
  • Domestic and daily life skill support
  • Food preparation
  • Emotional support
  • Support with safety and observations
  • Care planning and risk assessing
  • Admin based tasks
  • Assisting the clinical team with helping clients with stabilisation
  • Assisting the Registered Manager in ensuring that the clinic meets the Fundamental Standards and Quality Statements of CQC.
  • Personal care as required
  • Keeping up to date with trainings

Essential skills for the role include:

  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Warmth and boundaries
  • An empathetic nature
  • Driving license preferred due to location
  • Confidence with IT systems such as microsoft
  • Previous health and social care knowledge/experience is an advantage but not essential.
