We are now seeking a driven, proactive, and highly organised Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our annexe builds
Role Overview
The Project Manager plays a central role in leading projects from pre-start through to final handover.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, brings real energy and enthusiasm, and can motivate site teams while maintaining excellent communication with clients
You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, acting as the main point of contact for customers and representing iHus with professionalism and positivity
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Liaison
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project
- Provide clear, consistent updates and manage expectations professionally
- Represent iHus during site visits, progress meetings, and handovers
- Build strong relationships through a positive, engaging, and proactive approach
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations and company HSE standards
- Promote a proactive safety culture on every site
- Confirm appropriate use of PPE and ensure all personnel are competent and compliant
- Carry out and review risk assessments and ensure safe working practices
Operational Delivery
- Lead and motivate site teams/subcontractors and site leads
- Review drawings, schedules, and specifications before work begins
- Plan resources to ensure tools, materials, and consumables are available
- Monitor progress against programme and escalate risks or delays
- Ensure all work meets iHus quality standards and manufacturer specifications
- Oversee snagging, pre-handover, and final handover inspections
- Coordinate the removal/storage of surplus materials and site equipment
Documentation, Communication & Reporting
- Use company systems to maintain accurate project information
- Ensure site photos, documents, and data are consistently captured and uploaded
- Communicate regularly with internal teams
- Participate in video calls, progress reviews, and reporting meetings
- Support strong project governance through accurate and timely documentation
What We're Looking For
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of timber-frame or residential construction
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ability to lead teams with enthusiasm, positivity, and clarity
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Confident using digital communication tools and project management systems
- Solid understanding of HSE requirements, PPE, and CDM compliance
Qualifications
- Construction-related qualification (e.g., Level 4 Construction Management or equivalent experience)
- Experience managing timber-frame or modular construction projects
- CDM training or certification (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
