About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and organised Property Maintenance Manager / Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations across a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on management position, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in maintaining properties to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repair activities across multiple properties.
- Manage and support maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Plan and schedule reactive and planned maintenance works efficiently.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety regulations, building and legal standards, to a good standard.
- Monitor budgets, source materials and subcontractors, and control costs effectively.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas requiring improvement or repair.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, compliance certificates, and completed works.
- Liaise with tenants, and internal departments to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all legal compliance is adhered to regarding landlord licensing and safety certification
About You
- Proven experience in a property maintenance management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and manage workforce.
- Good IT knowledge
- Knowledge of building systems and defects, repairs, and compliance requirements (e.g. gas safety, electrical, fire safety etc).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in maintenance scheduling and record-keeping systems.
- Full UK driving licence .
