We are an independent award winning restaurant & pub looking for people to join our team and help us build on the success we have had since opening We are looking for a passionate, driven Bartender who is able to help grow and strengthen the front of house team.

Built in 1838, The Silver Cup is well and truly woven into the heritage of Harpenden. Over 150 years on, it retains its charm & character whilst adopting an environment that embodies the life and soul of the community and the people within it.

We don't believe that good food should just be for the rich and famous. Our aim is to create a special experience for customers that pulls on the traditions of a classic British Public House whilst putting a contemporary twist on quality seasonal food and drink. In the last 36 months we have made a huge investment in refurbishments, staff, suppliers and equipment. We are working towards accolades and building our reputation throughout the county.

What you'll be doing:

-Welcoming, understanding and guiding customers, making recommendations and taking drink orders

-Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.

-Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers

-Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.

-Lead by example and develop the whole front of house team

-Ensure all company rules and protocols are followed

-Proactively seek out improves and create solutions to better the customer experience

-Cellar Maintainence

What we are looking for:

· Experience working in bars or pubs

· Excellent multitasking ability, problem solving & attention to detail.

· Strong leadership skills and track record of building high performing teams

· Ambition and drive to be the best they can within their role and the industry

· A passion and knowledge of cocktails, wine & the hospitality industry

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
