Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team at Waldron Dental. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth running of our front desk operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding service.
Key Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries in a courteous and helpful manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with the dental team to optimise the diary
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information using our IT systems
- Handle patient payments and process invoices as required
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and compliant with health and safety standards
Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Confident using computers and dental/medical software (training provided if needed)
- Friendly, approachable, and able to reassure patients in a professional manner
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
