Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
  • Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Support the team in plating dishes attractively and efficiently
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Culinary experience that demonstrates versatility across different cuisines is advantageous
  • Previous serving experience is beneficial but not essential; a willingness to learn is important
