A role you will love

As our Oracle EPM Specialist you will work within the technology department and be responsible business analysis, solution design, Oracle release impact assessment and roadmap planning within the Oracle Cloud EPM environment.  

As the EPM Specialist you will partner with business stakeholders to understand issues and challenges, translating them into clear, actionable improvements. You will also focus on product enhancements, ensuring the business takes full advantage of new Oracle features & capabilities.

Some other key responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and improvement opportunities, documenting and translating requirements into actionable solution designs for Oracle Cloud EPM.

  • Design scalable, efficient, and compliant EPM solutions aligned with business objectives and Oracle best practices, preparing functional and technical documentation to support delivery and support.

  • Monitor Oracle Cloud monthly releases, assess their impact on existing processes and configurations, communicate implications to stakeholders, and support planning and implementation of required changes.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the EPM roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic business and technology goals, and support prioritization and delivery of enhancements and projects.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, translating operational issues into system and process improvements, and facilitate workshops to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

  • Stay abreast of Oracle Cloud product developments and emerging features, evaluate new functionalities for relevance and benefit, and lead or support initiatives to pilot and implement product enhancements.

What will you bring to the role?   

As this role is a senior member of the team, you will need to have strategic insight and technical ability with a deep expertise in Oracle Cloud EPM. Within the role, you will be working with multiple different teams, workstreams and stakeholders so you will need to have excellent stakeholder management skills. 

You will need to have a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture, including workflows, security models, and data models. 

Some other key skills you will have:

  • Strong understanding of core Oracle EPM modules such ARCS, EDMCS, EPBCS, FCCS, TRCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting.

  • Familiarity with EPM data structures, master data dependencies, and integration points between ERP, EPM, and HCM systems.

  • Awareness of Oracle product roadmap, release cycles, and emerging features.

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud for managing integrations between EPM and other systems.

  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for EPM integrations and ability to design/manage interfaces with upstream/downstream systems.

  • Experience supporting EPM strategy and solution delivery within large, complex organizations.

  • Proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with Finance Leadership, Global Process Owners, and cross-functional teams.
