Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including real ales, wines, and soft drinks, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
  • Assist with food and drink preparation as required, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages during busy periods.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues during peak times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or catering industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • A proactive attitude towards helping others and providing outstanding service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and drink mixing.
