Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, ensuring the bar area is clean and well-stocked, and contributing to a memorable experience for all patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Assist customers with their drink selections, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
  • Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a passion for customer service.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing orders efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bartending experience is a plus, particularly in cocktail preparation and presentation.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members are essential for success in this role.
