Skybod Healthcare Ltd is inviting experienced and compassionate live-in carers to join our team of professionals providing personalised one-to-one home care across the UK.

This is a self-employed position, offering flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to deliver person-centred care that helps clients live comfortably, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with medication reminders and wellbeing routines
  • Prepare meals and assist with light household duties
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
  • Provide mobility assistance and promote safe movement
  • Accompany clients to appointments, walks, or social activities
  • Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing

Self-Employment Guidance

This position is open to self-employed candidates only:

  • You must have or be ready to apply for a UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) from HMRC.
  • If you don't yet have one, Skybod Healthcare Ltd can guide you through the process with a simple step-by-step guide.
  • Applicants on a sponsor visa cannot work as self-employed, and Skybod Healthcare Ltd is not able to offer visa sponsorship.
  • Please ensure your visa or immigration status allows self-employment in the UK.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in live-in or domiciliary care
  • Must be self-employed or willing to register
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK and valid professional references
  • A reliable, caring, and professional approach to care
  • Advantageous: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or First Aid certification
