Data Modeler – Predictive Modelling

About the Role

As a Data Modeler, you'll work on building and refining predictive models that drive key business decisions for our underwriting team. You'll collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to design, test, and deploy models that make a tangible impact.

• Develop, validate, and maintain predictive models using Python.
• Explore large, complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns and insights.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world business challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret results and communicate findings clearly.
• Continuously refine modelling processes and contribute to best practices within the analytics function.

About You

• 0 - 2 years experience in predictive modelling or data science, with hands-on use of Python for model development.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• A relevant degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  Clear, confident communication skills – both technical and non-technical.
