Overview

Our client, a national public body dedicated to protecting and promoting England's historic environment, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Listing Coordinator
to join their Listing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the preservation and celebration of England's heritage. The successful candidate will support the coordination and administration of listing casework for the North of England, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer listing casework, ensuring all applications are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Act as the first point of contact for public enquiries relating to heritage listings.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure effective communication with property owners, applicants, and other stakeholders.
  • Support colleagues within the Listing team to deliver departmental objectives and national targets.
  • Update and maintain data on the
    National Heritage List for England
    in line with national standards and procedures.
  • Assist in improving administrative processes and record-keeping systems.

Requirements

  • Experience working effectively as part of a team within an administrative or coordination role.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally with members of the public and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise competing tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
