About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused individual with strong leadership skills, capable of maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and warmly welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide expert recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve meals efficiently and professionally.
  • Supervise service staff to maintain smooth and timely service throughout the dining area.
  • Handle payments, receipts, and end-of-shift reconciliations accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of tables and service areas.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service and resolve any issues.
  • Address customer needs promptly, ensuring satisfaction and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Train and mentor junior waitstaff, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a food service or hospitality role; previous experience as a Head Waiter is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Professional appearance and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
