We are Amaro Dolce, a London based restaurant chain dedicated to providing a high quality dining experience. We operate in the areas of coffee, Italian cuisine and wine. To further enhance our operational efficiency and service quality, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Operations Director to join our team.

Job Description:

As the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the Trattoria Battersea chain of restaurants, ensuring that all outlets are operating to company standards and continuously optimising operational processes. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement restaurant operational strategies to improve overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and coach outlet managers to ensure they are following company policies and standards.
  • Analyse operational data, identify issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage supply chain to ensure stable quality and supply of raw materials.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitors and industry trends, and provide strategic recommendations for company development.
  • Recruit, train and develop employees to improve the overall quality and combat effectiveness of the team.
  • Develop and manage budgets to control operating costs.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of management experience in the restaurant industry, chain restaurant management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills and team management experience, able to motivate and lead the team to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills, able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Familiar with operational standards and processes in the restaurant industry, with excellent service awareness.
  • Strong data analysis skills, able to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strategic thinking, able to grasp and drive the company's development from a holistic perspective.

Remuneration package:

  • £60,000 per annum
