SISTER / CHARGE NURSE | Band 7 | £47,810 - £54,710 per annum If you are a nurse leader with a background in palliative or end-of-life care, this role offers the chance to make a lasting difference in supporting our patients and families when it matters most. Shaping the ongoing development of our inpatient services. The role will include: Acting as the senior nurse on duty, providing visible leadership and professional support across the In-Patient Unit. Ensuring safe staffing levels, effective skill-mix, and a positive, compassionate team culture.

Delivering and coordinating high-quality, holistic care that meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Leading by example, upholding professional and clinical standards in line with NMC guidelines and hospice policy. Supporting and mentoring nursing staff, healthcare assistants and students, promoting a culture of learning and accountability. Contributing to governance, audit and quality improvement projects, embedding evidence-based practice and continuous learning.

Managing operational aspects of the unit including rostering, resource allocation, and budget oversight. Deputising for the Matron as required and contributing to service development and strategic projects. See our full detailed Job Description on our website for more information. HOURS OF WORK This is a Full-Time position working 37.5 a week on a rotational basis, including day, evening, night, weekend and back holiday shifts to provide supportive leadership and support across the unit.
