About You

This is a great opportunity for an exceptional AV engineer with a passion for the Smart Home industry. You will have at least three years of relevant experience and a 'can-do' attitude for problem solving. Ideally you'll be based between west London near our Ealing office or anywhere up the M40 corridor towards our head office in Thame. You will be both office and site based according to project requirements for the day and you enjoy a fast-paced environment even when working under pressure. You will report directly to the Cyberhomes directors and regular project progress meetings will take place either in person or via video call. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Proven Experience Required in:

  • Control4, Crestron and/or Savant control systems
  • Lutron lighting control
  • IT and network infrastructure
  • Best practice for AV installation standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing, testing and commissioning Smart Home systems both off site and on client premises
  • Providing on-site support and troubleshooting
  • Conducting regular maintenance and upgrades on existing systems, including accurate tracking of clients' installed technology and software/firmware versions
  • Work with support technicians and colleagues to diagnose and resolve issues with clients' technical issues
  • Providing training and guidance to clients on the use of AV equipment
  • Ensuring all current projects are completed to brief within the required timescales
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritise workload to ensure projects remain on schedule
  • Be proactive in suggesting new methods, technologies and techniques to improve efficiency, system performance and reliability
