What you'll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced reward professional to join our People Division as an Executive Reward Manager. Reporting to the Head of Reward, this role will be a key strategic partner to senior stakeholders, helping to design, embed and evolve SJP's executive reward framework. With a focus on executive remuneration, you'll bring deep technical expertise and play a central role in shaping and delivering our executive reward strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the executive reward framework, covering base salary, annual and long-term incentives, and equity plans.
  • Partner with senior leadership and external consultants to design competitive and compliant executive pay packages.
  • Prepare papers and materials for the Remuneration Committee and Board, including benchmarking, pay-for-performance analysis, and regulatory reporting.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to provide insight and recommendations on executive pay.
  • Lead senior pay and benchmarking reviews, including director role evaluations and regulatory approvals.
  • Support the production of statutory reporting, including the Directors' Remuneration Report, CEO Pay Ratio and Directors' Emoluments.
  • Own and deliver reward projects (e.g. new share schemes), working across SJP and with external providers.
  • Communicate reward strategy effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with culture, behaviours, and performance.

Who we're looking for:

You will be an experienced reward professional with a strong technical background in executive remuneration and a proven ability to influence at senior levels. You'll combine analytical expertise with excellent communication skills, enabling you to deliver complex insights clearly and credibly. With strong business acumen and an understanding of the financial services sector, you'll be motivated by shaping strategy and ensuring SJP remains competitive, compliant, and aligned with shareholder expectations.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

  • Significant experience in executive reward, including fixed and variable pay, incentive schemes, and benchmarking.
  • Strong knowledge of reward best practice, legislation, tax, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver executive reward frameworks and present recommendations at senior/Board level.
  • Advanced data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail and high proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience with HR and reward systems (E.G. PayScale, UNIT4 ERP).
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector and competitor reward practices.
  • Experience in developing or managing share schemes.
