Shifts: Rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins

We are now looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our passionate team in Bedworth.

The Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting both the young people and the wider staff team. You will act as a positive role model and provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans
  • Lead shifts and supervise a team of support workers
  • Assist the Registered Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance (Ofsted standards)
  • Support the development and implementation of therapeutic and behaviour management strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and homely environment
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training, and development opportunities

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
  • A full UK driving licence – desirable
