Job Overview

Saxon Court is a beautiful independent living site which has 46 apartments including communal dining room , games room , salon and gardens .

We are seeking a new weekend housekeeper/ kitchen assistant to join our fantastic team for 8 hours to undertake the following Shifts.

Saturday 4 hours 12.00noon - 4pm

Sunday 4 hours 12.00noon - 4pm

also the flexability to cover holidays and sickness on other days would be a bonus .

Our staff are our greatest asset and we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and attention to detail.

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our premises and also help as a kitchen assistant at lunchtimes, The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning , hotel housekeeping or kitchen assistance , with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Each owner has been guaranteed 1.5 hours help in their own apartment each week .

the nature of the tasks to be undertaken is the responsibility of the manager and the housekeepers and will be determined in consultation with the owner and the housekeeping assistant .

An integral part of the work of the housekeeping assistants at the discretion of the manager and duty manager is to help the cook in the kitchen , to serve meals in the dining room and light refreshments in the sitting room and clear away .

- Clean and tidy rooms, corridors, and common areas

- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces

- Change bed linen and towels

- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and refreshments

- Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines

Skills
  • Experience in cleaning or hotel housekeeping
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues
