**Housekeeping Supervisor | Housekeeping | Hove| Full Time | £21,450 per annum plus enhancements**

The Montefiore Hospital are looking for a Supervising housekeeper to join their dedicated operations team on a permanent basis. You will be required to work a rota of 5 days over 7. Weekday shift pattern is 4pm - 12am or 7am - 3pm. Weekend shift pattern is 7am - 3pm, 10am - 6pm or 11am - 7pm dependant on the needs of the service and the team.

The Montefiore Hospital is rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging, and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, cardiology, and general surgery all delivered through our expert and caring clinical team. The hospital is well-positioned to maximize the excellent local public transport. There are buses that stop in the vicinity and is also within walking distance of both Hove and Brighton train station

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To ensure that the Housekeeping team is supervised on day to day operations and reported directly back to the Head Housekeeper
- To support and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital in line with the housekeeping and infection control policy
- To be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the equipment provided, checking for faults and supply shortages and reporting them to the line manager
- To support the Head Housekeeper to complete regular housekeeping and facilities cleanliness audits and to ensure actions taken as required
- Assist with the management of the stock levels and ordering of supplies for the housekeeping functions and team
- Arrange and co
- ordinate rota cover for sick / absence / busy periods as the need arises, being mindful of budgetary constraints.
