SOUS CHEF & JUNIOR CHEF/COOK
The most unique venue in the heart of Wind Street is expanding its team.
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in the launch of our brand-new kitchen at Gods Kitchen situated in Heaven Swansea.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for creating high-quality dishes, and can keep a cool head during service — this could be you.
Requirement is to have commercial kitchen experience, passion for food, full understanding of the FSA guidelines and min of level 2 but 3 is desirable and would need to be achieved while training with us as condition of employment
Essential responsibilities:
Support Head Chef in menu development and daily operations
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
Monitor stock, prep levels, and waste control
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with all health & safety requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills
Food hygiene certification preferred
Hours: Full-time or part-time available, primarily evenings and weekends.
Rate: £18,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Swansea SA1 1DW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
