Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de partie , you will be responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
  • Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ensure all cooking equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary techniques.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the restaurant's schedule.
