The Role:

We're looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to support and lead logistics operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on teamwork and operational excellence in a growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the logistics planning to ensure on-time, cost-effective freight movements and delivery performance.
  • Oversee coordination of global shipments, air, land and sea freight, ensuring compliance with all local laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring production schedules, resolving logistical issues, and maintaining accurate system records, including costs.
  • Manage the daily operation to ensure we meet commitments to both customer & internal processes.
  • Foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication, service quality, and process improvement.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the point of contact to resolve any problems or complaints.
  • Identify lead-time constraints and take corrective action to remedy any issues with project delivery.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
  • Analyse data and trends to identify and plan for future logistics needs.
  • Create and implement relevant KPI metrics and analyse data to assess performance.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Logistics/Transport Supervisory role.
  • Experience in negotiating logistics contracts and service agreements.
  • Outstanding planning and coordinating skills.
  • Exceptional communications skills.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Customer focused and an excellent problem solver.
  • Uses own initiative and has a proactive approach.
  • Capable of working under pressure and adapting to evolving project demands.

Even better if you have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of international shipping regulations, Incoterms and customs procedures.
