Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Port Talbot, South Wales

Hours: 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun (you will work for approx 9hrs/day Mon-Fri, 6hrs/day Sat-Sun but will be paid for 10hrs/day)

Start Date:

Duration: 2-3 weeks

PAYE Pay Rate:

- £18.72/hr, Mon-Sun, All hrs (£ £2.01 Holiday Pay = £18.72/hr total)

- £43.27/day lodge allowance (not taxed)

Weekly Gross and Net Pay:

- Based on 70hrs/week paid: £1310/week Gross + £302.89/week lodge allowance = approx £1230/week Net paid inc lodge allowance

The Role:

Our client has a requirement for Mechanical Fitters for a shutdown on Port Talbot steelworks. Duties will include assisting with mechanical maintenance and replacement of precipitator filter systems and general plant maintenance. Further work to follow on power stations and cement plants nationwide.

CCNSG card

Experience of using hand tools and power tools
