R&D Partners is working alongside a leading diagnostics organization seeking a field-based
APS
to support scientific and research-focused applications within the pharmaceutical sector. This role centers on providing technical expertise in cellular pathology and histological techniques, contributing to preclinical research efforts across the South UK region.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert guidance in cellular pathology and tissue analysis workflows
  • Support instrumentation and staining platforms used in histological and molecular assays
  • Provide high-level customer service and technical assistance to clients across the South UK
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Solid foundation in tissue-based pathology, histology, and related laboratory sciences
  • Proficiency in advanced staining techniques and molecular detection methods
  • Experience with automated staining systems and diagnostic instrumentation (e.g., XT Bond, DAKO, and comparable platforms)
  • Based in the South UK region (excluding London and areas north of the M4 corridor)
