You'll champion our Weir Change Framework, facilitate clear communication, and build stakeholder engagement, ensuring our people, processes, and purpose move forward together. By anticipating resistance and fostering a culture of adaptability, you'll help maximise the benefits of change and make a lasting impact on our organisation.
What we offer:
At Weir, we are proud to provide reward on a basis which is fair and attractive, including a competitive benefits package. Through our 'We are Weir' framework, we focus on the importance of our people and the contribution they make to our organisation.
- Health & Wellbeing: As a global organisation there isn't one single solution that will enable us to take a proactive approach to our health and wellbeing. We have built a Health and Wellness framework focusing on Culture & Leadership, Safety & Environmental, Mental Wellbeing, Physical Wellbeing, Digital Wellbeing and Financial Wellbeing for different parts of the business to bring to life in a way that is most meaningful for them.
- Grow your Own Way: Everything moves fast in the dynamic world of Weir. This creates opportunities for us to take on new challenges, explore new areas, learn, progress and excel. Best of all, there is no set path that our people must go down. Instead, everyone is given the support and freedom to tailor-make their own career and do the best work of their lives.
- Be You and Belong: Weir is a welcoming, inclusive place, where everyone's contribution is recognised and all employees are encouraged to innovate, collaborate and be themselves.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Transformation: Design and deliver change strategies that align with Weir's business vision, guiding teams through transformation and embedding meaningful change across our organisation.
- Champion the Weir Approach to Change Management: Lead with consistency and excellence by applying our framework to change initiatives, ensuring every project reflects our values and delivers measurable outcomes.
- Inspire and Influence: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Communicate the "why" and "how" of change with clarity, fostering engagement and commitment to our shared journey.
- Manage the People Side of Change: Analyse and understand the impact of change on people to craft tailored communications, deliver impactful training, and cultivate a culture of transparency, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Recognised Change Expertise: It's essential that you hold a formal qualification in change management (such as Prosci or equivalent), backed by a strong track record of designing and delivering change strategies in large, fast-paced, and complex global organisations.
- Commercially Minded, Strategically Driven: With deep expertise in change management and strong commercial awareness, you act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable change plans that deliver real impact.
- Project Leadership with Purpose: You thrive in ambiguity, juggle competing priorities with ease, and build strong stakeholder relationships that drive engagement and momentum
- Tools That Drive Change: You're proficient in MS Office and know how to select the right tools to communicate effectively, secure stakeholder buy-in, and support change adoption. A degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience, is essential.
