We are currently recruiting 1 SIA Licensed Door Supervisor to join our team for Christmas events and festive markets in the Knutsford area throughout the holiday season.

SHIFT DETAILS:

Saturday 29th November 11:00am - 17:00pm

Sunday 30th November 11:00am - 16:00pm

Job Summary

As a Door Supervisor for Opera Security, you will:

  • Provide a visible and professional security presence at Christmas markets, light trails, and festive events
  • Monitor entry points and manage queues in a polite, efficient manner
  • Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, staff, and vendors
  • Conduct bag checks or searches where required
  • Manage conflict calmly and respectfully using effective communication and de-escalation skills
  • Liaise with Opera Security management, event organisers, and emergency services when necessary

Requirements

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Smart, professional appearance suitable for public-facing events

Ability to stay calm and confident under pressure

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the festive period

First Aid qualification is required for this role

Desirable

Previous experience in event or festival security

Knowledge of Health & Safety and crowd management
