The Role

Within Mob's Commercial function, we partner with clients to plan and execute campaigns across our social channels and product.

We're scaling fast and need flexible, talented Freelance Project Managers to help deliver these campaigns end-to-end and at a consistently high standard.

This role is perfect for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a sharp eye for detail, and proven experience managing client-facing projects. You'll support the Commercial team, working closely with Mob's wider teams to deliver partnerships and events to an exceptional standard.

As a Freelance Project Manager, you'll balance creativity with execution, maintaining Mob's authentic brand voice while keeping clients excited to return. Your work will drive revenue, strengthen partnerships, and sustain Mob's reputation as one of the UK's most exciting food media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients on commercial projects, ensuring smooth, timely communication and strong relationships.
  • Plan and execute best-in-class campaigns in line with client briefs and Mob's brand mission.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media agencies, clients, and internal teams across Mob's commercial partnerships.
  • Lead internal kick-off meetings, ensuring clear scope of work and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with production, creative, and social teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to brief.
  • Monitor and manage timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Analyse campaign performance, compile reports, and share actionable insights with clients.
  • Confidently interpret and communicate paid media results, including AB testing outcomes and core digital metrics, ensuring clarity for both clients and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively, offering solutions in real-time to keep projects on track.
  • Attend shoots or activations as needed to represent Mob and ensure delivery meets client and brand standards.
  • Maintain accurate project tracking across relevant platforms including Google Drive, and Slack, ensuring visibility for the wider team.

  • Strengthen Mob's reputation for client service by maintaining a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Ensure commercial partnerships and events are executed efficiently, on brand, and to brief.
  • Build a strong network of client and agency relationships that supports Mob's continued growth.
  • Support internal collaboration by ensuring clarity, alignment, and accountability across teams.
What You'll Bring

We're looking for Freelance Project Manager with a strong track record in fast-moving environments. You'll be great for the roster if you:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills – able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without losing sight of detail.
  • Clear communicator – confident in translating client briefs and campaign data into actionable plans for internal teams and clear updates for clients.
  • Familiarity with paid media terminology and metrics – comfortable with AB testing, VTR, VCR, and other key performance indicators to ensure campaigns can be reported on with confidence.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving mindset – thrives in fast-paced, changing environments and brings proactive solutions when challenges arise.
  • Collaborative approach – works well with creative, production, and commercial teams to deliver seamless outcomes.
  • Client-facing confidence – capable of building trust with agencies and brands, managing expectations, and keeping communication smooth and professional.
  • Digital tools proficiency – experience with platforms such as Google Suite, , Slack, and CRM systems for tracking and reporting progress.
