Ready to make a real impact across HR operations, recruitment and payroll in a purpose-driven charity?
Do you thrive on precision, compliance, and continuous improvement in HR administration?
Are you the proactive coordinator who keeps everything running smoothly?
Join our People & Culture team as a valued HR Coordinator and help shape a positive employee experience across our Charity. From recruitment and payroll to core HR operations, your attention to detail and proactive approach will drive smooth operations and lasting impact.
Your role
As HR Coordinator, you'll be a trusted first point of contact and play a central role in delivering high-quality, accurate and compliant HR administration across the employee lifecycle. You'll manage busy HR inboxes, process new starters, coordinate references and lead on pre-employment checks, all while maintaining accurate personnel records and ensuring data protection compliance. You'll handle employee changes including contract updates, role amendments and leaver processes, working closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and prompt updates. In addition, you'll support benefit schemes and help deliver key annual processes like holiday rollovers and pay reviews.
You'll also contribute to HR reporting and systems by maintaining trackers, preparing reports, and using Excel to present key metrics. Your clear communication with stakeholders and involvement in cross-functional projects will help drive continuous improvement across the People & Culture Directorate. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role where your diligence, professionalism, and commitment to governance will help shape a positive, efficient and people-centric HR service.
About you
We're looking for an organised, detail-focused HR Coordinator with experience across the full employee lifecycle who takes pride in delivering accurate and timely support. You'll be confident using HR systems and Excel to maintain data, compliance checks and employee changes while keeping precise and consistent records and reports.
Strong communication, discretion, and a proactive mindset are key. If you're adaptable and proactive, enjoy streamlining processes and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a chance to make a real impact across our People & Culture team.
