Inspection Logistics Coordinator

About the role

  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating asset inspections, ensuring optimal

routing and resource allocation

  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. asset management team, traffic management

team, maintenance team, operations team) and external contractors/suppliers

to ensure smooth logistics operations.

  • Assist with booking road space, arranging traffic management, booking site

access equipment e.g. MEWPS and plant and site access for inspection

teams What you'll be doing

Data Management and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of inspection schedules, and personnel movements

using our programme

  • Support the Asset Inspection Logistics Manager in managing and updating the

asset inspection database and associated systems.

  • Assist with the collection, organisation, and preliminary analysis of logistics

data to identify efficiencies.

  • Prepare and process necessary documentation, permits, and reports related to

inspection logistics

  • Assist with the drafting and administration regarding subcontractor indents and

requisitions.

Resource Management Support:

  • Help track the availability and calibration status of our inspections
  • Support the Asset Inspection Logistics Manager in tracking budget spend

related to logistics activities.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Contribute to ensuring all logistics activities comply with health and safety

regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards (e.g. COSHH,

working at height, driving regulations).

  • Assist in documenting and reporting any logistical issues or near misses, e.g.

HIPO

Who we're looking for

  • Experience in a logistics, coordination, or administrative support

role, ideally within an operational or technical environment.

  • Experience working in an office environment organising works,

shifts or rotas.

  • Competent in using with basic office software (Microsoft Office

Suite, especially Excel).

  • Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business

Administration, or a related field

  • Business and administration NVQ
  • APM Project Management qualification
