Inspection Logistics Coordinator

About the role
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating asset inspections, ensuring optimal
routing and resource allocation
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. asset management team, traffic management
team, maintenance team, operations team) and external contractors/suppliers
to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Assist with booking road space, arranging traffic management, booking site
access equipment e.g. MEWPS and plant and site access for inspection
teams What you'll be doing
Data Management and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of inspection schedules, and personnel movements
using our programme
- Support the Asset Inspection Logistics Manager in managing and updating the
asset inspection database and associated systems.
- Assist with the collection, organisation, and preliminary analysis of logistics
data to identify efficiencies.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation, permits, and reports related to
inspection logistics
- Assist with the drafting and administration regarding subcontractor indents and
requisitions.
Resource Management Support:
- Help track the availability and calibration status of our inspections
- Support the Asset Inspection Logistics Manager in tracking budget spend
related to logistics activities.
Compliance and Safety:
- Contribute to ensuring all logistics activities comply with health and safety
regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards (e.g. COSHH,
working at height, driving regulations).
- Assist in documenting and reporting any logistical issues or near misses, e.g.
HIPO
Who we're looking for
- Experience in a logistics, coordination, or administrative support
role, ideally within an operational or technical environment.
- Experience working in an office environment organising works,
shifts or rotas.
- Competent in using with basic office software (Microsoft Office
Suite, especially Excel).
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, or a related field
- Business and administration NVQ
- APM Project Management qualification
